Located between the Town Head and The Cobbles, the Market place includes Main Street and courtyard, The Neukin Here you will find a concentration of independent retailers, public houses, tearooms, restaurants, The Market Hall and the Community Office.
This narrow, winding cobbled street is home to independent retailers, public houses, the church and accommodation providers.
Along Burtersett Road you will pass Hawes Auction Mart leading to the foot of the town which houses two of the local attractions: The Ropemakers and The Dales Countryside Museum and Yorkshire Dales National Park Visitors Centre and children’s play park.
The Upper Wensleydale Business Park and Brunt Acres Industrial Estate are home to local service businesses, fire station and training facilities.
